Why is this fudge healthy?
You only need a few ingredients to prepare the vegan chocolate fudge. But these ingredients pack a punch when it comes to vitamins and fiber. In addition to our porridge, coconut oil and agave syrup, apricots, cocoa, hazelnuts and pumpkin seeds play an important role:
Apricots: a vitamin bomb
Apricots are real vitamin bombs. The orange fruit is particularly known for its high beta-carotene content, the precursor to vitamin A. This substance has antioxidant properties, thus protecting you and preventing damage to your cells.
Happy maker cocoa
Cocoa has many important nutrients such as vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fiber and unsaturated fatty acids. In addition, eating chocolate leads to the release of the messenger substances serotonin and endorphin, thus increasing well-being and mood. That's something we can all do with in times like these.
Nervennahrung Hazelnuts
Hazelnuts are full of vitamin E, which has a primarily antioxidant effect in the body, but also has an anti-inflammatory effect and supports the immune system. The minerals calcium and phosphorus they contain strengthen our bones and ensure healthy teeth. The increased iron content is also clearly a great property of the nut.
Protein heroes Pumpkin seeds
Pumpkin seeds also score well when it comes to iron. They are also rich in other nutrients such as zinc, magnesium and selenium. They therefore have a positive effect on our heart health and blood sugar levels. That's why they're a popular topping for muesli and porridge.

What do I have to consider when preparing the fudge?
It is important to plan some time before you can enjoy the fudge. The confectionery must be refrigerated for at least 2 hours before eating. This allows the ingredients to combine well and gives the confectionery the right consistency. It is important that you always store the fudge in a cool place, otherwise it will become too soft. It will keep for about two weeks in a well-sealed tin with baking paper between layers.
